Meet Justin Hubbard

From One Truck to Freedom.

I started my hauling business with a single truck and a drive to figure things out — and built it into an 8-truck, 100-dumpster, $2M-a-year operation that runs without me.

Now, I help others build businesses that give them the same freedom.

I Started With Nothing but Hustle

I launched my junk removal company in Connecticut with one truck, a phone, and no idea what I was doing. I wore every hat, made every mistake, and learned each lesson the hard way.

Over time, I figured out what actually moves the needle — how to attract the right customers, how to price for profit, and how to build systems that make the business run smoothly.

It wasn’t overnight. It took a decade of figuring it out in the field, but eventually, I built a company that grew beyond me — 8 trucks, 100+ roll-off dumpsters, and more than 6,000 bookings a year.

The Real Win Was Stepping Out

Today, my company still runs in Connecticut — but I don’t.

I live in Florida with my family while my business operates day-to-day without me.

That freedom didn’t come from hope and luck. It came from systems, strategy, and a clear plan for scaling a home service business the right way.

Now, I use everything I learned to help other haulers and service-based entrepreneurs do the same — through The Haulers' Edge, my book Beyond Breaking Even, and consulting / coaching work for small business owners ready to break out.

Why I Built Hauling Hubb

Hauling Hubb exists to give haulers what I wish I had when I started — a place to learn, share, and grow without guesswork.

It’s where the hauling community can get proven advice, trustworthy tools, and real stories from people who’ve lived it and are still doing it.

This industry is filled with hard workers who just need the right information and systems.

I’m here to make sure they have both.

Life Beyond the Business

When I’m not working with home service pros or writing, you’ll find me spending time with my family, reading, smoking cigars, or reflecting on how to build simpler, more meaningful systems — in business and in life.
